1 c shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 pkg. chocolate chips
2 tsp. hot water
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
Combine shortening and sugars together. Mix in eggs, hot water and vanilla. Last mix all dry ingredients together. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
