Creamy Taco Casserole
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 1/2 (8 oz) package cream cheese
1/2 (14 oz) can of cream of chicken soup
1/2 (4 oz) can of green chillies drained and chopped
1 large white onion chopped
2 cups cheddar cheese grated
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cooked corn kernals
1/2 cup salsa
1 packet taco seasoning
2 teaspoons chili powder
Doritos or Tortilla chips as needed
salt and pepper to taste.
Directions
1- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2- brown beef in skillet
3- Drain fat. Reserve 1 tbl. to saute onions in
4- return beef to skillet with onions and add taco seasoning, salt, and pepper. Then add green chillies and corn kernals.
5- Transfer dish to large baking dish (9X13)Stir in Salsa and Chicken Soup.
6- In a separate bowl mix together cream cheese, sour cream, and chili powder until smooth. Then spread over the beef and vegetables. Top with Cheese.
7- Place baking dish in oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
