Potato Casserole (aka Funeral Potatoes)

I think this recipe was originally Grandma Keetch's, and I found it in Mom's recipe collection. Cook and grate 7 large potatoes. In a saucepan, combine: 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 cube butter 1 C. grated cheese 2 Tbsp. chopped onion 1 pint sour cream Heat to make a smooth sauce. Put 1/2 potatoes in a 9x13 pan. Cover with sauce, then potatoes, then sauce. End with sauce. Top with 1 C. crushed cornflakes, tossed with 3 Tbsp. melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
