7-up Salad

1 lg package lemon or lime jello 1 C boiling water Mix well then add: 3 C. 7-up and let set Then add: 2 sliced bananas 1 C mini marshmellows 1 C. chopped nuts 1 13 oz. can pineapple, drained Use the juice of the pineapple, add ½ C sugar, 2 Tbls. Cornstarch, 2 Tbls butter and cook until thick (4 minutes or longer). Cool and add1 C. whipped cream, put jello mixture in a glass pan, top with pineapple mixture and whipped cream. Put vanilla wafers on top and set up in refrigerator.
